Let me tell you what happened.
We arrived, then we sang songs. Then I got a bit high-er. Some particular teacher was super lame and crappy and… I’m sure you know who it is >_>
Like please.. he did funny actions la. But he was pretty entertaining.
Here comes the part where it is super super fei4. Holding hands and connecting. Standing in the sun. Gettng sunburned. While listening to crappy music from 91.3
Oh. To get rid of the boredom, We did the following:
- Charades
- 408 random wave
- Shouting to the sec 2s to hold hands
- rhythm game
- holding hands and attempting to play murderer
- getting sian-ed and kicking our bags.
- crapping to mr chiang
- crapping between ourselves.
Oh. then when FINALLY!!!!! We got the countdown, supposed to recite the pledge, but didn’t know what was going on…. then someone came over and said the president went missing -_______-
WTH.
So we stood there for sometime again, getting lamed out and imagining the president as an illusionist, then another person came around saying it’s finished -.-
It was so completely unsuccessful. Somemore the media came over to film us. US!! -.- lamed out la. like there was this bunch of people pulled in to say “HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!!” then we stood at the side so we have no need to get caught on film, then that same 2 people approached us to cheer for singapore. So we just sang “Happy birthday to you~~ SINGAPORE!!” And I believe I had this -_-||| face.
grr. then when walking back to the tentage, I heard on the same station– it is inspiring!!! Like wow. And I saw that reporter. talking into a phone. I felt like going up to her and saying it was totally not success can.
Upon reaching the tentage, we recited the pledge as a school then shouted “HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!!!” as a school. Again =.= I didn’t shout. Just pretended to. It’s so weird celebrating without saying the recollections or even singing the national anthem. I suggest not to get such a big scale event again. Difficult to synchronize and stuff.
sigh. That was the end of the whole thing. then yunghian actually asked mr chiang if he had a PS3 and if he really played it! Then he answered ya with this amused and “Am-I-supposed-to-say-no?” face. then yunghian seemed to think it was unbelievable -_______-
ok. that’s the end. so if you happen to see me on TV, which I hope not, You know that I feel that it is a failure. *stones*

P.S. Apparently I continued with my level 9 character =.=
hey although it was rather erm crappy but must support hernhern! (although i was complaining too) ya i think shouldn’t plan such a large scale thing and everything next time. happily settling in school and having a national day parade and watching cadets march (or being in the parade myself) is good enough for me. cross country liek the previous 2 years is a good idea too. (:
Haha I was standing along the large field and had NO IDEA at all when the president even came la. You know, around 90% of the blogs are all about how it was such a failure. Damn annoyed by today, no xin qing to celebrate Nat Day walau.
